Hero ways,Zero Waste!

 

     Our environment is such an important factor in our life sustainability. It provides us food,shelter, clothing, and medicine. However,due to our excessive consumption of natural resources,our environment has been deteriorating and crying out for some help because of to much waste that it can no longer contain. 

     As an inhabitant of this planet,do you exactly know what is going to happen if this world will be full of different waste products? Are you ready to face the consequences of our cruelty of our environment? If not, then what are you waiting for, be a hero in your own little ways to make this world zero wastes.

     As one of the few billion people of this blue planet, which is the Earth, here are a few of the things that I can contribute to help make this world zero waste, the 5Rs:

1.✓Refuse

You will have to minimize the waste production by refusing to use materials such as single-use plastics and non-recyclable products. The logistics of it can look intimidating at first, but there are better and far-less wasteful materials that you can switch over to.

2.✓Reduce

Reduce refers to the reduction of harmful, wasteful, and non-recyclable materials so you can save more money, which also benefits the environment. When you lessen the amount of these materials, especially non-recyclables, less of it goes in the environment.

3.✓Reuse

The "reuse" step refers to the diligent reuse of any materials. As a new effort to reduce high amount of waste throughout the world, businesses are following practices that involve reusing materials within the workplace rather than ordering more replacements.

4.✓Repurpose

The idea of repurposing involves taking items that were meant for one purpose but can be used for other ones. This is also known as upcycling in the green or environmental circle. It often requires thinking outside the box.

5.✓Recycle

The final step in the process is recycle, which means exactly what it sound like. After you have made quality efforts to go through all the previous steps from the five Rs, recycling is a great final option.

     All the above mentioned ways may seem simple and simple, but they are doable and can create big impact to the environment. If only all of us can uniformly do these things and other possible ways, then I believe that we can achieve a world where there is zero waste. You can be a warrior of the environment on your own little way.

 Being the head of more than a hundred million Filipinos is a very demanding and stressful job. I know that when you decided to take on the task, you were already ready to face the hardships of being the president of our republic. However, just recently I could see you from the news being angry to some of your critics.  Mr. President, I know that you are doing your best to serve your people. If there are some who are not satisfied with the way you govern our country, just let them be. Always remember that not a single politician like you is liked by everybody. You should try to relax and continue work harder for the common good of your people.  Always remember, Mr. President that you can never please everybody. So, hold on your horses and never get mad.  Draft no. 3 (The Fall of Bataan)     They Fought Up to their Last Strength The Fall of Bataan is a historical event that happened in our mother land during the World War II. A lot life, especially on the side of the Filipino and American fighters were wasted because they were over powered by the Imperial Japanese Army.  After reading about this battle, I really felt sad not because the group of the Filipino and American soldiers fought while they were starving. It’s like they were in a double war. A war against the Japanese Army and the war against hunger. If only the reinforcement arrived, the result of the war could have been changed.
