Bigueños’ Celebrated Christmas amidst the Pandemic  Christmas is surely one of the most anticipated and celebrated holidays not only in the Philippines but all over the world. People, especially Catholics spend time preparing for the birth of the Messiah, our Savior, Jesus Christ. Here in Vigan City, despite the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, we have our fair share to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.  Just like the previous years, the Bigueños started the preparation of Christmas on the 1st day of September. Local radio stations begin to play Christmas songs to remind the locals that the birth of Jesus is fast approaching. Each household starts to put up their Christmas tree and decorates their houses with Christmas ornaments and sparkling lights. Everywhere you go is decorated with either red or green, which are the most common Christmas colors.
